The alternative 10 Best Adventure Games That (Almost) No One Has Ever Played

This is my list:

Alien Incident
- Nowadays it doesn't look and sound very good, but I loved the story about a teenager whose uncle has been kidnapped by aliens.

The Dark Eye
- You can argue whether this is a real adventure game, but the atmosphere of this collections of stories by Poe is brilliant.

Bad Day on the Midway
- This game incorporates the members of the Residents in a weird carnival in a wicked, but fun game.

The Gene Machine
- Jules Verne with British humor, the ideal combination, though the game is too easy.

I have no mouth and I must scream
- Harlan Ellison's most famous story transformed in an adventure game. It's about five people forever tortured by a big computer, whithout the typical hollyood ending.

Orion Burger
- Groundhog day meets Space Quest, sometimes frustrating but mostly fun

Rex Nebular
- Great animations for its time, one word: fun.

Touche
- The Adventures of the Fifth Musketeer, aka monkey island in France.

Wayne's World
- Has the same feel as the original Saturday Night Live series.

Burn:Cycle
- Bladerunner meets Neuromancer (or Johnny Mnemonic ) comes with a cool cd with the ingame music.

I've only played the beginning, I didn't like it and therefore I didn't continue.
I don't like the combination between the realistic backgrounds and the not very well drawn characters, the voice acting and the story among others. I love Jules Vernes books though.

Wayne's World
- Has the same feel as the original Saturday Night Live series.

I think the convensation was rather boring, you kept getting the same answer "I don't know Garth" or something.

Burn:Cycle
- Bladerunner meets Neuromancer (or Johnny Mnemonic ) comes with a cool cd with the ingame music.

I tried to buy it new for $3 by mailorder but I was too late >
I love cyberpunk and I also like the kind of backgroundmusic it has (indutrial metal).

I wouldn't say that almost no one has played these games.

You're totally right, although you can say the same thing about Randy's original list.
But I think there aren't many gamers who have played all the games on either my or Randy's lists, so that might justify the title a little bit

- Eastern Mind: The Lost Souls of Tong Nou
- Cosmology of Kyoto
- Drascula (hm... on second thoughts... oh well, it's kind of rare)
