Status : Online | Cool thanks for the scoop. I like the gameplay for fallout, but I don't like world too much. On the other hand I really like the sounds of the Arcanum world. Sounds like a game for me!

Status : Offline | I really couldn't get into Arcanum. True, there seems like a lot of things that would enthuse me, like the mix between magic and technology, but somehow, I just couldn't get interested in the game.
The pace seemed to be too slow and the endless walking around annoyed me.

Status : Online | I didn't like Fallout too much and the same goes for Arcanum. In fact I started playing and almost immediately quit. I'm too conventional when it comes to RPGs I guess.

Status : Offline | I loved Arcanum. I'll readily admit I haven't played many RPGs, but Arcanum is definitely in my top 3 favourites with Planescape:Torment and Fallout.
There are many sidequests to do, the story is engaging though not as rich as P:T's. I am sorry I finished it and will surely re-install soon.

I've recently tried out Planescape and Fallout, I love that I can play them in turn based mode. But the big thing is that I really can't get into those worlds. I think I'd really dig the arcanum world, and the gameplay sounds similar to what I like.
