And what about my mum, who's a computer programmer, but thinks computer games are the spawn of the Devil and refuses to touch them?

Hmm... if computer games are the spawn of the Devil, that would mean computer game programmers are the devils? There could be something to it

Ksandra, what makes her think that?

Actually Mothers Day here is this coming Sunday 11th May, but it's different in the U.K. isn't it?   Was wondering what dates it is in other countries?

Actually, I was exaggerating a bit. She worries that computer games are too addictive and waste time we could be spending on more useful things like... well, anything, according to her. I've told her repeatedly that she would like games like Myst, because she loves logic puzzles and stuff like that. But she won't try them because she's worried about getting addicted to them herself.

As for Mothers Day in the UK, we've already had it this year, but I can't remember exactly when it was.

Then I guess you could enjoy the prize if you win.

Mother’s day in the UK was on the 30th of March it is closer to father’s day now.

You know I was wondering why I was getting so much mail about mother’s day… now I know not everyone has had it.

Aren't there mothers on this very board, who's into adventure gaming?
(Okay, that could be read more than one way, but I *do* mean those who might wanna tip off their kids what would make a great gift!)
