thanks guys,

at least that's one mystery resolved. Well I think I stick with the adventure games. Don't like so much the fighting... I like strategy games, though for the strategy and not for the fighting itself. Well...that's for another forum

Deleted UserThen maybe u should check out the japanese style RPG's. The battles are quite strategic.

Deleted UserHmm most games are released on one or th other game console and only few make it to the PC. On PC I can recommend the Final Fantasy episodes 7 and 8 and Grandia 2.

Deleted UserThat's a nice selection Ogre. I like it too. I haven't tried Grandia 1 or 2 though. Here's another thought Breath of Fire 3 and 4 is jts nice. The fightings take turns(forgot what it's called). Just like FF games
. Just a warning. Breath of Fire isn't a new game so the graphics are not as impressive. But I did like it. Still haven't finished BOF 4
though.

Deleted UserOh, I didn't know BoF was out on PC, too. I have lately bought BoF 4 for the PSX for a cheap price but actually have not played it because I was busy with FF X on PS2.
I also only played Grandia 2 on DC and think the PC version looks the same so it maybe has the best graphics of them all. But if you have a chance to lay your hands on Grandia 1 I really can suggest it.
I admit I'm more into it for the story then for the fighting so I don't mind easier games.
I also recognised that Phantasy Star Online came out for PC, but in difference to the DC version does it cost a fee, now?
Also I can suggest some really fantastic PSX RPG's like Vagrant Story or Chrono Cross and if the graphics doesn't matter Dragon Warrior (Quest) 7.
