Sorry if this sounds like a silly question, but...

I remember years ago playing spider-man and the hulk, they were text adventures, but you sometimes would get a graphical respresentation of rooms or scenes now and then, any IF games still doing that?

Thanks.

Yes, one of the newest IF adventures - 1893: A World's Fair Mystery - has some graphics. I havn't played it myself but I understand it's a very good game.

Not a silly question at all!!, Cyberhippie

Many games made with HTML TADS (a software which enables you to write text adventures) include graphics and music. You could be interested in the following:

Three Stories (couldn't find the link)

The Golden Skull  http://ifarchive.org/if-archive/programming/tads2/examples/goldsrc.zip

As Rael already said, "1983. A world's Fair" includes graphics, too.

And, if you are interested in the technical aspects of multimedia within the TADS enviroment,  the following link will be very insightful  http://tela.bc.ca/tads/

I used to play one about King Arthur.  It was fun, but the graphics slowed down the game, waiting for the picture to load up.  But think there was an option to turn off the graphics.
