Status : Online | Does it have to be a fabric? Rosco produces great paints for blue- and greenscreen effects. You can paint the wall, linoleum, or probably any fabric and get exact color you need.

Status : Online | No it doesn't just have to be fabric. I am looking for a place to buy either paints or fabrics for chroma key in the UK otherwise I will have to pay about $55 for shipping plus any import tax that is placed on the items by buying it from the US.

Its not the winning the losing or the taking part that counts. Its the way you cheat.

These are links to Rosco UK, you can ask for local prices. These are water based paints, easy to apply, and give perfect colors.
Will you shoot with DV, Beta or film?

Status : Online | Thanks. I will be using a DV Camera. Why is there any difference. (If it helps I will also be using Adobe Premiere for the blue screen effects) If you know of a better program please let me know.

Status : Online | Yes, there is a huge difference. DV is not the best format for shooting blue- greenscreen because of its color subsampling (4:1:1 NTSC 4:2:0 PAL) Some useful links below:
http://www.neopics.com/bluescreen/ http://www.greatdv.com/post/bluescreendv3.htm http://www.seanet.com/Users/bradford/bluscrn.html http://www.cdisweden.com/eng/artiklar/utvard_bluetext.html
And the best chromakeying software available (but expensive):
http://www.ultimatte.com/
The latest version have some special algorithms for DV footage. "[Ultimatte] AdvantEdge is the world’s first matte generation tool with video correction filtering (VCF) for the 4:1:1, 4:2:0, and even 4:2:2 digital video formats. VCF restores the lost color information in compressed video formats and greatly reduces the blocky artifacts found in most blue/greenscreen composites using DV footage."
Shooting good bluescreen footage is difficult with DV but possible. Adobe Premiere is good for editing, but if you are interested getting good composites - adding shadows, matching lights and colors, etc. take a look at Adobe After Effects.
