I have just checked malinche.net and they are announcing that a new game is under development: Greystone. The plot seems quite interesting. There have been a series of brutal murders inside a Mental Hospital and you, a state trooper, should enter in the asylum disguised as an inmate to try to solve the case. Nobody knows your real identity, not even the hospital's authorities. And, most important, the asylum is a real one: Greystone Park Psychiatric Hospital was an inmportant hospital of New Jersey that is now abandoned. The author is doing a great deal of research and in the site he posted some really interesting photographs of the hospital as it is today. Indeed, one shows  a negative from a patient's file, which he found casually lying on the floor.
I really get caught by the enviroment!. I enjoy plots related to asylums and mental hospitals, like Countdown and Sanitarium...

A lot of people like the environment of a good mental hospital (as it were) and I really think Greystone is a game you're going to really enjoy. Would you like to be a beta tester?

Have you been to http://www.malinche.net/previews.html recently? Greystone is coming alive! <big grin>

Asylum? Brutal murders?
 I can hardly wait!
When is it going to be released?
@Howard: How did you do all that research? Who did you talk to? (I hope this is not classified information...)

I'm looking at an October release.  Actually, I'm shooting for October 31st... <grin> What better day to release a haunting murder mystery than on Halloween?

Unfortunately, a lot of the behind-the-scenes is classified for some pretty interesting reasons.  I will be able to elaborate sometime in the near future but I cannot divulge now.  Stay tuned for more!
