If you go to this board:

and make a new post saying what you've just said, you'll have a decent chance of finding someone who's making a high-res (by which I mean 640x400 - did you mean 800x600+ ?) game.
Heck, I'd ask you myself if I wasn't doing a low res game. Good luck.
