By "AVI" I assume you mean the animated cinematics play slowly?
Does your machine measure up to the recommended minimum requirements?
Most importantly, you didn't mention which model GeForce card you have, but make SURE you have the latest driver available at www.nvidia.com. Be careful to select the correct driver. They are reference drivers and "should" work for all brands of GeForce cards. Be careful and read the fine print there.
Also, in the game options or setup, can you select a smaller resolution or deselect "anti-aliasing"? This will speed up the game. Also, select Windows desktop "properties" and make sure you're on 16 bit color, not 32. 640X480 should run faster than 800X600 (or higher).
If all else fails, go to www.lawandordergame.com and look at the tech info and patches there. There's also a link to contact tech support at Legacy.

| Deleted User | Hey Thanks a Lot! I forgot i just formatted my pc and installed windows XP. Im using Geforce 2. Pentium 3 When i was using windows 98, there werent any new drivers for nvdia or my sound card..but then when you mentioned it I just remembered seeing XP update driver. Yippy!
