I was hoping someone out there would summarize the cut scenes in post mortem for me.
Apparently my graphics card isnt big enough for it on my new computer.  So I have to skip every cut scene.

Anyone?  Anyone?

Thanks, Heather

What an incredible drag!
Did you check first with tech help?  I don't have it loaded on my computer anymore.  Hope someone can help you out though.
Some of the cut scenes are really quite good.  Many are just between locations to give you a view from the outside: arriving at the hotel, going to the police station, all at night, all very noir.  Some of the scenes show him having psychic visions of what happened in the hotel room.  Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Still adventuring after all these years!

... and Asylum if it's not tooooo scary...

Yes, it is an incredible drag.  I did call tech help.  I could hear them rolling their eyes when they asked me about my graphics card.  Their take on the matter is, I bought a game that wasn't compatible to my computer (i.e. graphics card mem.) therefore I can't play it.
I can't upgrade either.  Alas, I have a  library of games too old to play and too new to play.

Thanks for replying.

Adventuredog,
Apparently, not everyone thinks adventure games are as cool as I do.  Quite the opposite actually.  But that is o.k.  I am holding on to the games I can't play until I run across a computer that will play them.  The older ones for when I visit my dad.  The newer ones for sometime in futureland.  In the meantime, I just ordered Dark Fall.  Yippee!!

You will love Dark Fall if you like being scared!

Play in a dark room with earphones for maximum effect.

Eeek!
Well,  I can play a scary game if it has a good enough story to back it up and little or no action.  It looks like Dark Fall fills these requirements.   I tried playing ' Blair Witch: Rustin Parr' and had to uninstall it.  Those zombies jumping out everywhere scared the crp out of me.

Oh no, Dark Fall has none of that cheap zombies clawing at you kind of stuff.  It is all about the subtle background sounds, and what you find out as you go that makes it scarey (and fun!)  I don't like scarey games at all if there are blood & guts spilling everywhere.  :'(
