Ok the nick-name is Rismi which is a contraction of the two nicknames of us. That is a Belgian man and a Puertorican woman, who are married and live in Belgium. We both like adventure games as long as they are not toooo difficult, have a good storyline and don't include too much violence. Our absolute number one is Riven, followed by Myst1, Syberia and Exile. But now we're going 'on-topic' again... so see you there

(But, then again, in my defence, I've got to say I only visit 7 different forums, this included , and this one's not my priority, much too crowded to my likings)

I'm 30 and I've been checking the forum for a few weeks now. Time to be a little more active, though I'll certaninly be limited by my few distant memories of english lessons at school. :-/ I really like adventure games but I'm no expert in puzzling solving, especially those based on dumb...Hem... I mean 'non logical' associations (I have a few titles in mind ). So far, my favorites are Riven (I just love the feeling of immersion and I read the books), Longest Journey (nice plot and characters) or Gabriel Knight 2 (great realism and plot), and a few older ones as well like DOTT.
I have to find an avatar now. Hmmm...
I'll see you around...

Resistance is not futile, we're gonna win this thing, humankind is too good, we're not a bunch of under-achievers! We're gonna stand up, and we're gonna be human beings. We're going to get fired up about the real things, the things that matter! Creativity, and the dynamic human spirit that refuses to submit.

I was really happy to discover this place, since most of the sites I know consider the genre to be dead an' all and therefore don't really review new titles and wotsnot

Status : Online | Another Newb for you all , Hi everyone,.
Im Andy and ive loved the point and click adventure genre for ages (and RPG) so this seems like a great community to be a part of .
I had no idea how many of these adventures were around until I hit this site not too long ago, I thought it was a lost to the 3D FPS games and other pap that keeps on getting re-hashed and re-released (rant over ).
Im patiently waiting for Sleeping Dragon having loved the first two and going right back to the Monkey Island/LSL/Beneath A Steel Sky days on the amiga right up until now.
Well at some point I would have loved to write a point and click adventure (eventually - when time allows - I still might) but can't draw for toffee unfortunatley - which doesn't help.
Quick Question (and Im sure to have a couple of silly ones) but I keep getting redirected to the adventuregames website when trying to browse around justadventure.com, is that normal?
Right, Thanks for the warm welcome see you all in there
Regards,&&Andy

Are you referring to The Adventure Company window that shows up as well when you enter the Just Adventure website. If so, it is supposed to pop up as one of the sponsors. If you mean something else.....
