No. My post was only about S1. But, my thread is just a warning to developers, that discover a new way to gain money......Games in chapters......like Zelehngorm, Syberia, CSI and others extreme short ones. I'll not pay 30 bucks for a weekend-lenght game.
I don't know the lenght of Syberia 2, but suspect that will be as short as S1.

I prefer a short game with a good story (and all the other qualities of a good AG) over a long game that has no story, or is just too difficult to resolve without a walkthrough(like(for me)Schizm). I don't mind using a few tips, but if you have too use the whole walkthrough, then I have the feeling that I just wasted my money.

GRIM FANDANGO IS A REAL JOURNEY, AND TEX MURPHY OVERSEER IS AWESOME RIDE. ONLY THE LONGEST JOURNEY HAS COME CLOSE TO THIS THESE DAYS.

Hi, Mike The way I see all of this is the fact that the story is the most important and the game shouldn't be so hard that the player can't enjoy it. This is a very hard thing on the developer's part because every gamer has a different skill level. Things like inventory puzzles and other things all add to the fun of playing the game as well as add to the playing time. A good game has a perfect mix of all of these things and I have seen it done many times. Of course the Tex Murphy games are a perfect example of how this is done. In my opinion they are prububly the best AG's ever created. I also think Syberia was one of the best of the newer games I have seen in a long time. So what it all comes down to is that most of it is just a matter of the opinion.
