i'm writing my second adventure game, my first was a reworked version of Ditch day....."
its all mapped out now (its changed 3 times and i aint got out of the start room!) and i've  just started doing the source code, my Q is how do make it so "me/actor" needs to wear glasses to see clearly? the room starts with the actor in bed, in the dark, i've done that bit and its working fine.
i considered trying tads3 but desided theres enuff scope for me messing up, with out program bugs lol
has anyone used "jetty" ?, i've got it working on a web page but  is it possible to use html tads with pics/sound
on a web page?

ty  Rpautassi, i've got a bad habit of only reading the bits i need to kno :-[, however ive started using AGS, and im building a new game called V-Dub Boys, using 3D graphics, i have the first few rooms done, its a cross between the "young ones" (uk comedy from the 80s) and "wayne's world" and the idea came from a comic strip i did in the 90's
