FULLY interactive playable demo (with unique dynamic built-in hints) will be uploaded on Mikael Nyqvist's (Sweden) 'MDNA Games' site in a few day's time - hopefully within less than one week from now !

I have read on various Forums that some folk dislike Demos and some even refuse to play them. One reason given is that playing a Demo spoils the actual game  its! There is probably some truth in rhat.

However, I am completely opposite ! I will not get a game UNLESS I HAVE FIST PLAYED ITS DEMO - except maybe on extremely rare occasions and for specific reasons !

I have two reasons for this :-

First and foremost, I need to check if the full game will actually play or play properly on my computer. Occasionally a game will not play due to incompatibility with my video or sound card or operating system. If that is the case - NO GO !!! If however the game plays flawlessly on the Demo it almost certainly will do so for the full game !!!

Secondly, I like some types of Quest/Adventures much more than others. Hence if the Demo bores me to tears (as some do) then I won't bother with thex game itself !!!

I agree a demo is a plus.  I find that sometimes the controls are really awkward too and it is just too annoying to continue playing.   There are certain series that I'd preorder in a heartbeat, though --- Dreamfall, Syberia, anything by Jonathan Boakes come to mind.
