The makers of "Scratches" are making a bigger and scarier adventure game titled "Asylum". In production for the last 4 years, Senscape is looking to fund the final stages of this large undertaking. The demos, pictures and videos are exceptionally impressive. You can see the campaign and mateirals here:

The game is completely DRM free and will run on ALL major desktop platforms: MS Windows, MacOS and Linux.

The engine is generated on an engine called Dagon, also created by Senscape. This engine is OPEN SOURCE and FREE FOR PUBLIC USE along with its SDK. With these tools not only can you edit Asylum, but also make your own games using this open source adventure game engine. There are still 900 $15 priced game rewards left (after that the minimum to get a copy of $20) but this campaign with a goal of $100666 is at the 68% mark with 2 weeks to go. This is a major event for adventure game fans, especially those into the horror genre. All to be released in the 4th quarter of 2013.
