Those incentives are wonderfully creepy, and I'm so happy there will be a Mac version!

I pledged, and I also posted the link over at Mystery Manor.  Good luck, Agustin!

And Agustin has already released his 6th update.  Good grief.  The wallpapers are beautiful, but the last update is a bit of a mystery.

Here's the link -> http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/agustincordes/asylum-kickstart-the-horror

This game is gorgeous and I really want to see it succeed!

Pledged and can't wait. I feel I need to start a topic "are you a kickstarter junkie?"

Oh, do. I'd be curious to see how many projects we've all backed, even if they successfully funded or not.

Thus far, I've only backed eight projects and all have been games of one sort or another.  I'm with Val though about the KS Anonymous group.  Must stop surfing Kickstarter.....

Are you kidding? I like kicking the publisher in the unmentionables and being kept in the loop of development of my favorite game devs!

I used to admire "it will be released when it's done", but anymore there's more to it than that. \

Ubisoft and Rayman... the game was due out on the Wii U at console launch... nope, delayed until a little bit ago... now... delayed until Ubisoft can justify it's sale by putting it out on every console -- delayed until fall 2013. The developer and most importantly -- the fans -- are quite upset.

I've backed 23 projects

, I may have a problem. 22 of them were games and 1 was music.

Two of them failed, one of them was cancelled (the music album).

What I've backed, in no particular order:

Hero U

Shadowgate

Skyjacker

Star Citizen

Project Eternity

Dead State

Jack Houston and the Necronauts

Clang

Two Guys Spaceventure

Carmageddon

Tex Murphy

Starlight Inception

Republique

The Banner Saga (got my poster from them already, it's amazing)

Shadowrun Returns

Wasteland 2

Jane Jenson's Moebius and Pinkerton Road Studio

Make Leisure Suit Larry come again

Takedown

Double Fine Adventure

I still plan to back Asylum and the new Dreamfall.

Wow, that's a fair number. Stiller.  Thus far only two of my backed projects have made it, but Asylum will surely make it to #3.   I backed Jane Jensen's project, but was leary of Kickstarter back then and backed through Paypal, so I guess that doesn't count.  The game Homesick, just finished and made it.

If anyone is interested, Agustin just added a new update for Asylum, which includes a Matt Chat interview.  I checked today and there are about 500 bargain slots left for $15.  I figure that's about half the cost of retail for the game.

I see someone has started an new topic for KS backers.  I should move there.

Im thrilled to report that Asylum reached it's initial goal on Kickstarter today and is funded!  So Asylum will be finished.  Yeah!  ::a little overjoyed here::  Still time to back the campaign though.

This is great news, Imari! I'm sooooo looking forward to this game.

Although I don't have much discretionary income, I did make a Kickstarter pledge for Asylum. It's my very first one.

Nice article, Karla.

I'm watching the campaign hopefully.  I'd so love to see Memories added.   I'm fascinated by ruin and the screenshots contrasting the various stages of decay are intriguing.
