Just a word to the wise, one of the misisons is just about impossible to complete due to a programing error, it is the Princes Party mission where you have to infiltrate a party for the Sultan dressed as a minstrel. You then have to target eight enemies using a highlighting focus and then you need to get a second cue of a way point to complete each sequence, the first five work fine, but then the one set in the garden where you ahve to follow a man who walks some distance is impossible to compleete as no matter how hard you try you almost never get the waypoint so it keeps faulting and you lose. I finally gave up and used a save game but then have to re map the entire city and regain helpers all over, so it adds hours of repeat play. I am sorry for the game is quite remarkable in many ways but this was a serious blunder and it ruins the immersion for sure.

just a word to the wise. Avoid the party or plan on a lot of repeats.

there is a good set of save games if you google, but you only get small portions of the map revealed and only about 2 assasin helpers with even the advanced ones.

thanks for the info ... It's a shame such mistakes weren't patched because otherwise those AC games really are masterpieces

yep i think they kind of ran out of steam with this one, before winding up and hitting a home run with the one set in Colonial America which from all reports sounds fantastic.

they do an amazing job with the immersion in the history and they are using a game engine that can really do wonders with full worlds and lots of active AI people....truly wonderul..i will post some pictures when i get some time.

i kept going with a save game but the inevitable super hard platforming levels have hit and i am going to have to skip a few..i am just not good at that stuff and they put it in for the hyper platformers. it is still a remarkable game.

AC3 i beat a while back in early December. It was a very fun game and imo has the best "gameplay" of any of the AC3 games. The setting is also VERY well done and really helps add variety how you can go from the cities to the frontier, etc.  Then you hav ehte naval aspect which is VERY fun and so well done.

the storyline is ok, but Connor himself isn't as well fleshed out as Ezio was.

Cris it won't work on xp.

It's a DX11 game and I'm pretty sure requires windows vista or 7.

I can confirm this. Any older DX wouldn't be able to render such a beautiful game
