Halleluiah !!!
I hope so too, Trav !! But being I suppose by nature somewhat of a pessimist, I unfortunately have grave doubts !

Although as I said I am by nature a pessimist, I don't believe that any of the detailed 10 is likely to occur at least within the next 100 years – by which time it is highly unlikely that any of us here will still be alike & kicking !! Except for your last listed one of course – hahaha !

Status : Offline | I was looking forward to it and had been for years. (All together now: That figures.) Then it didn't happen. Not fair!
I've heard various reasons why things didn't exactly go as anticipated.
(1) Something did happen. We just don't know it yet. This goes along with recent invisible UFO sightings.
(2) An electronic pulse emanating from who-knows-where saved the planet. This is the Not Enough Tin Foil in Your Beanie theory.
(3) Everyone got it wrong; it's supposed to happen next year. This drags things out so more people can make a profit selling ridiculous end-of-the-world paraphernalia.
(4) The Mayans never existed. This illustrates classic denial.
Oh well...maybe next time...
EDIT...
Update: Now it's supposed to happen on Christmas Eve. Depending on where you live, that could be tomorrow.

Status : Offline | Well it's Christmas Eve, and about 11:30 PM here in West Mifflin, nothing bad happened, the JA forum is stil up and running, we were watching TV all evening, all's well.
I'm not worried. Who's worried? Or is this supposed to be a joke? Or a ages-old hoax/supersition/legend, or what?
Either way, no worries, folks!
Instead, Merry Christmas!
