Though a bit short and rather easy, I thought Wallace and Gromit was quite charming and very much in the spirit of the animation it was based on, a shame it didn't do better in terms of sales. Riddle of the Sphinx was rough around the edges but had some great exploration with a large game environment and interesting puzzles. And Obsidian...well, Obsidian is a personal top 5 adventure game, one of the most imaginative games I've played with some really original puzzles. I didn't include it because I have trouble thinking of it as a B-game. But it really doesn't get the attention it deserves these days.

Hmmm. I notice that all but the last one of mine are first person puzzle-oriented games, which I find more immersive than third person. Several of them would be in my top 20 games, but they seem to be neglected, the poor things. I have played many third person games and enjoyed them, but they seem to be talked about more than these.
