Did they really discover life on Mars? We'll know the answer in a few weeks...

Of course we are not alone. The space is endless, it has no beginning, it has no end, and earth is just a tiny spot in there. It would be illogical to believe that live does exist only on earth. No surprise for me if they find life on Mars.

My opinion on the topic has always been a rather dull "Duh..." Although it may not be on the same level of intelligence as us or higher it feels like it's almost a given that there's something out there. In fact I thought there was something about fossilized bacteria on mars?

I agree completely and have been of that opinion for years & years !

If however there IS life of equal intelligenge & development as ours or better here on earth, I don't think it could "reach" us here due to the enormous distancess/times involved -  probably billions of light yesrs!!

This is what made me buy the PC game "Cydonia" at the local Babbage's Etc in Jan/Feb 1999.
