Theres also the Tribunial expansion due out soon with tons more stuff to do. (There's also lots of user-made mods and quests you can download and add into the game).

I have united the tribes and have support of two houses, working on the third and looking forward to Tribunal. Am head of a house and two guilds and didn't want to complete the main if I can't go on with the other quests and apparently, you can be at the beginning, middle, any where in the play of Morrowind and can move back and forth between the two worlds.

I don't know anybody who has done that yet!
How long did it take in temrs of gameplaying hours???
(please don't give any of hte plot away though) I'm playing as a Breton Mage tending to align with the Imperial government.
This game is astoundingly politically and culturally complex.

But my warrior's a good way through the main story and I'm determined to reach it's conclusion before Tribunual is released.

Status : Online | Hi,
Now on my way to the Red Mountain and the Citadels to pick up a couple of things I need when I meet what's his face.
I kept doing side quests but have this nagging urge to go try at least.
Overcome, I have been playing this game for over a few months, have lost track of time.
If I am or am not successful in the main quest, I will go on with the others. There are so many things to do and things you miss while wandering through this land, I will be playing this into next year and now with Tribunal coming out..........
I have not been this hooked on a game like this since I started playing and Might & Magic VI came out. Am not sure if that is good or bad, but this game is truly amazing to say the least.
I am playing a Redguard. My biggest goof so far was being expelled from the Thieves Guild but I wanted to be head of the Fighters Guild. I think there is a way I could have been head of both but I jumped the gun so to speak and didn't think it through very well.
I have a couple of other games going but not holding me like this one. Lord of the Rings comes out next week and will load that one as soon as I get it and since there aren't any adventure games right now that are really interesting to me, on I go.
Cerberus, you are thinking like I am. I want to finish the main quest before Tribunal comes out next Month. Then there will be the unfinished quests in Morrowind plus all the new ones added into the game through Tribunal. I will try to become a vampire if I am successful in the next few days finishing the main quest, hope I still can be one.

And now this lady just outside of Caldera asks me to retrieve her stolen amulet and ring. Both of wich I got from a tomb. But when I go back she justs asks me did you get them?
Is this some kind of bug? Have you guys had this sort of problem. Is there some way to "give" these items to her? You'd think the program would just acknowledge I have them in my inventory.

I didn't have either of those problems. Maybe it was one of those where you had to pick the right topic to talk about on your list to the right of the screen.
Did you check your journal to make sure there is a note in there that you had returned the things and on the other one talked with what's her face in the Balmora Mage Guild?
Every time you talk with any of them the topics, even for completed quests will show up as things to talk about on your list.
It should say on the screen if you hit the right topic that your journal has been updated.
Hope that helps a bit.

Becoming a vampire after a certain point become VERY difficult, due to the fact that vamprism is a virus and you end up with 100% immunity to disease. (It *IS* possible if you can enchant an item to temporarily eliminate your resistances OR by using a user-made mod - I think there are a few "Rings of Vampirism" floating around out there).

With the fake soul gem are you placing it ON or IN the desk? I think it has to go IN the desk.
As for the other quest, I don't believe I have actually done that one yet so I'm not certain (I know who you mean I just haven't looked for the thieves yet).
Have you loaded any new user-made mods recently?
The last time I had a problem like yours (with a broken quest) was with the orc necromancer that sends you off looking for the skull for the main quest. One of the mods I had loaded had deleted the hyperlink to the conversation topic that triggered the quest.
It's just a thought, but try loading to a save BEFORE the stolen items quest, unloading any new mods and try it again.

Wore me out, think I will now go stare at the TV for a while.
I know it is not an adventure game in the true sense, but this is one of the most amazing games I have ever played.
One more month and Tribunal will be here.

I haven't installed any plug-ins or "mods" as you call them. So that shouldn't be the source of the problem. As with the only lady who got mugged. I think I checked the wrong cave. There is a tomb east of Caldera over the mountains where there are some major toughies. Think maybe her stuff might be there.
