Was this (real life) hoo-ha worth the candle ? Somebody emailed me just today (well after I posted the spoof – which I also received by email !!) 1/2 dozen of the 'real' pics without my soliciting !!! They were probably downloaded from the Net, and are so grainy that very little detail is visible and you certainly can't identify ANYBODY !! I wonder whether the royal couple were wise in making a whole issue of the matter ?? It probably served to cause VERY many additional people to be interested in the photos than if they had ignored the matter &/or passed it off as a puerile joke or lack of courtesy to French tourists !! ---------------------------------------------------- The boast of heraldry, the pomp of power, And all that beauty, all that wealth e'er gave, Awaits alike th' inevitable hour:- The paths of glory lead but to the grave.
