Deleted UserOh my! I just knew about this new expansion pack and what's great about it, its not an online game which I don't have to worry if I should buy it or not. Its really nice to be able to follow my Sims to work. But I think it's going to be released on this coming May. I really can't wait!!!

WOW follow the sims to work??? that's awesome.....
Wasn't the last sim called Sim's Vacation??? I haven't played that one. I've got Sims House Party and Sims Hot Date.....

FYI: Researchers say that an average Sim player plays the Sims 4 hours a day!!!!! I've actually stopped after a month (got a lil bored of the old)

Deleted UserThe last one out was The Sims Unleashed. You can have pets!!! They're a bunch of cuties!!! Yeah , I also get bored playing The Sims but I never uninstall them. It gets huge all the time. Also, I do play 4 hours or more a day if I gotS the mood to play The Sims .

that's right!! I haven't played that tho, i bet you you gotta keep up with them alllll the time! what kind of pets? just dogs and cats? I used to play sims all the time, I remember I created myself and 2 friends, and 2 of us were killed in a fire in my kitchen after using the stove. apparently i forgot to study cooking during my "free-time". (which i never have!
). there were 3 of us living in that house and one was left all alone
lol, she placed our gravestone in the backyard and once in a while we come out as ghosts and haunt the house!!! It's funny (and spooky) to hear that haunting music everytime the us ghosts comes to visit. Have you ever seen this in your games???

Deleted UserOh, ghosts are really fun. I played Mortimer family and there are several ghosts haunting the house in the morning. So if you put your Sims on the first floor to sleep, you could see them waking up. But I've never got to see them running scared.

Pets : Iguana's, fish, birds. I think that's about it. You also could be a farmer here. But it's a hard work selling those veggies.

How about meeting Drew Carey in the game? It was fun to see him when my party is going wild for a couple of days.

My Sims did die for a couple of times. And one of my friend played a Sims serial killer which wasn't my favourite storyline. I didn't know what to do when my Sims family died. The only one who survived was the little girl. I didn't know how she could survived so, I deleted everything.

Although there are 8 different neighbourhoods, but I only use 2 neighbourhood. It took me like one year to fill up every lot in the first neighbourhood. Phew! Hard work.

I think I'll just wait for the upcoming release and then start to play Sims again. I have a feeling this would be thier last expansion release? I don't know, I can't think of anything else that they could do after selling lots of expansion packs. Did you thought of any ?

From the description I saw, it didn't say anything about following them to work, just that they can be celebrities.  Looks interesting!

EA sure likes to milk their successful games

There's been who knows how many expansion packs for the sims
One, almost 2 expansion packs for Battlefield 1942
There's one, soon to be another 1 or 2 for Medal of Honor.
NO SOUP FOR YOU!

The Sims 2 Now In Development!
We're excited to announce that development is underway on The Sims 2, a game that will truly take you and your Sims into the next generation.

In The Sims 2, your Sims will be more lifelike, more responsive, and more complex than ever before. You'll be able to control your Sims over their entire lifetimes, taking them from their first steps to their golden years. Guide them through "Life's Big Moments" and build their "Life Score" with every decision you make. And since every Sim will have its own DNA, their appearance and personality will be passed down through the generations.

Life in The Sims 2 will take on a whole different dimension with our entirely new 3-D engine. We're also working on countless details to make your Sims' world more dynamic, such as new lighting, objects, and animations; more complex relationships; and powerful new customization controls in "Create-A-Sim."

Read more about The Sims 2 in our official press release, and stay tuned for more information.

Haven't even heard about it yet, sounds too cool, I definetly gotta check this one out! It's funny b/c they are trying to think of anything to make it even more realistic, which is good! I love the idea of creating a human and seeing him/her change throughout his/her years. After a while they are going to run out of ideas tho, and start creating fictional stuff. Hopefully one day the Sims will start speaking in a comprehensive language, even make nationalities, like from China or Africa, or France. That would be cool. Anyway, I'm glad you posted this, Sarah, this is pretty good news

On a slightly related note, there's a two page ad for The Sims Superstar in the current (June/July) issue of Teen People.  Right in the beginning of the mag by the table of contents.

Deleted UserSusan, was it a good or a bad comment? Anyways, I already bought it. It's cool. Getting a 5 star on top of your head is not an easy job. You have to work hard for it. I still havent gotten it yet !! When you do a lot of wrong things, you're boss or who ever you're working with will say bad things about you and sometimes will cause you to step one star down.

Overall I like it. Lots of new stuffs! You can even increase your body points in that parachute thingy.

Oh, and making friends with stars or would be stars aint that easy. Some are purely with attitude! Ughh... Now here's some real challenge!!
