While some folks thought the Myst Sherrif should be informed, others ...

so they went in search of the grand inquisitor.

Getting hold of Terry was almost as difficult as finding the Wizard of Oz but

we found him in a post-nuclear apocalyptic wasteland, counting his enormous mound of bottle-tops and other loot, bemoaning the fact that local traders just carried so little cash on them, and wondering how he could ever invest that mound of bottle-tops.

meanwhile, back at the hovercraft, I managed to slip past the night watchman and return to my cabin unobserved. Zounds! my wallet was gone - and with it the key to the true secret of monkey island.. Only one monkey I knew was twisted enough to play this game, and no mountain of banana was big enough could buy him off now. What he now had in his paws would...

enable him to have knowledge of things that were fit for only...
