It looks really good and from what tiny bit of Deponia I've played and watched of Go To Hell Dave the outlook is good and quite hilarious. Looking forward to purchasing both.

Status : Offline | I've heard other ppl talk about Deponia, saying it's a great game etc. I actually LOVED The Whispered World (one of the best adventure games ever) and Edna & Harvey, so I was really looking forward to Deponia. But it didn't impress me. I just couldn't get into it, and I disliked Rufus too (maybe he's better in the German version). I dropped it, but, I don't know, maybe I should give it another chance some time...
You have gotten the attention of the mysterious lady. She turns to face you. Her face is devoid of any flesh. You are frozen with horror as she begins ripping your body into a bloody mess.

Status : Offline | I've played about a third of the game and I have to say based on my expectations I'm a little disappointed. It's not a bad game even though Deponia seems rather quaint and all. It does seem to have a reasonable plot along with an assortment of creative quest type puzzles. All along I had hoped to or rather expected to feel some empathy towards Rufus and his plight and that he is mostly just a victim of bad luck but his persistent cocky attitude somehow just doesn't seem to work.
:\
Aya is probably right in that perhaps he has a more appealing persona in the German version.
