Hi there,
I am trying to play Amerzone but cannot get it to cooperate with me.  I have the compatibility mode set for Windows 98/ME.  If I have my hardware accelleration set at a certain level, I can get the Dreamcatcher and Microids logos to play but the screen is all flickery.  If I move the accelleration lower, to combat the flickering, the game simply won't run at all.  It tries to execute the .exe file and then just returns me to my desktop.

I've tried every permutation of compatibility options and hardware accelleration nodes and nothing has worked so far.  Any ideas would be most welcome!

Thanks

Adso

I posted a review of Amerzone over in the Reviews forum.  Go there to check out my system configuration.  I'm running XP as well, and didn't use compatibility mode at all.

Don't use the compatibility mode....just run it under XP...mine worked great that way but not at all when used with CM.
