Resistance is not futile, we're gonna win this thing, humankind is too good, we're not a bunch of under-achievers! We're gonna stand up, and we're gonna be human beings. We're going to get fired up about the real things, the things that matter! Creativity, and the dynamic human spirit that refuses to submit.

Just a few months ago I was involved in the same kind of fraud. A seller was offering items he didn't own (usually rare or out of print cds), accepting payment, and shipping out different cds that were in the worst beatup shape (I received a Whitesnake cd dated 1982 and looked like it had been run over in the street...this was obviously not what I ordered). After I left a negative feedback, droves of people came forth to report that he had done the same to them...right down to sending them an old worthless cd. Us folks that had gotten scammed got together and emailed one another, reported him to every agency we knew of, and I encouraged each person to contact their credit card company for a refund and investigation since they have the power to manipulate Paypal that way. One buyer, who is a seasoned salesperson, was even successful at contacting Ebay via telephone and getting his own personal caseworker on the issue. In the end, the seller did get booted from ebay and is now facing investigations from the fraud agencies as well as having to pay back some Paypal refunds. It's a small victory and a tough lesson learned. I, on the other hand was apparently seen as the evil "instigator" of the buyer uprising, as the seller had enough time to leave me libelous feedback before his deportation from Ebay. I did however, manage to get one last word in (check out Z-Girl's follow up response).... http://cgi2.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback&userid=batman1398
Ok, so it was a little immature, but it sure felt good to say it! Have you ever seen so many red "complaint" marks in one place? I honestly feel for all those people who were scammed by tss, the fraudulent seller. Nothing is more aggravating and well, you can't hunt him down and kill him, so it feels like your hands are tied. My sincerest apologies to all who fell victim, and here's to hoping you didn't lose too much money.

Status : Online | The lamest thing I found about TSS' supposed excuses about things not being delivered, is that he blames the majority of them on items being returned as non-deliverable, because the buyer gave a bad address.
Does he really expect us to believe that the people who order stuff from him purposely give a wrong address just to screw up the delivery!! I think it's far more likely that either himself or whatever moron he has fill out his shipping forms, screws them up! I mean I'm pretty sure the vast majority of people that do order online, know where they live!!

Status : Online | Wow. It's like watching a train wreck. It's sweet how the gonegold board earnestly tries to give him the benefit of the doubt, and then the whole thing just deteriorates. TSS was also banned from gameboomers. He used to post there occasionally, rather long rambling posts. I don't have any details on what caused him to be banned over at gamboomers.
What happened - did the guy go off his medication? It's kind of scary to see someone unravel like that.
Regards, mszv

Status : Online | I would hesitate to call him a con artist (well, at least for a few seconds ) - don't forget that he has run a "reputable" (I use the term loosely) on-line software business for at least a few years, and its only over the last year or so that the negative Ebay feedback and the complaints have piled up.
At one point a few years ago he was trying to convince H+A to make a limted run of Celtica copies so that the people clamoring for the game could get it. Sure, he would have made money off it, but the thought was nice.
In fact, I kind of feel sorry for him...that is until I think about all the people who have been ripped off over the last few months. You can't treat your customers like that and still expect to stay in business.
He's obviously got some serious problems that have caused him to run his business off the rails (although who knows, maybe its just the on-line stuff that he's lost the handle on).
His posts are pretty legendary. I remeber him on what I think was the old JA board accusing The Underdogs website of deliberately planting trojans in their downloads. The Underdogs herself eventually showed up at the board and tore a strip off him, asking him for evidence which he could not supply. The conversation ended with TSS suggesting they start a business together (!!!), and she just totally blew him off. High comedy my friends.
I'm Moo-Moo the cow, I eat lots of hay....

I used to take his posts seriously in the beginning, read his rather lengthy posts and figured he was an authority on the subject. Pretty soon, I realized there was only a wind blowing, and since sitting in a draft only gives me neck-pains I stopped reading what he had to say. It's really funny, now that I read through that thread, I have to admit I immediately fell into the habit of skipping his posts entirely, relying on the participants replies instead to get the geist of it...
