I have never **BEFORE  COMPLAINED** about any JA faulty mechanisms !

But the situation with regard to my Login's has become intolerable !

This situation may possibly not apply alone but to other members of the forum - which is why I now bring it to your urgent attention !

The situation was bad a couple of months ago and I complained to Support asking for their help.

However, nothing was done and the situation has become progressively worse.

I am now logged out something like once every 3 days which I am sure should not be the case and is *EXTREMELY* frustrating - British understatement !!!

In my particular case, the situation is made even worse by my bad eyesight.

Every time I am chucked out, I have to pester my wife to help me rewrite the distorted security letters - and this is really an unnecessary pain in the butt.

Please let me know ASAP what is causing this problem or preferably just inform me that it has been completely corrected -

Thanks in advance !!

Try clearning your cookies and cache, then relogin (and make sure you have it checked to remember/stay logged in for x time you want).

I.m VERTY sorry but this doesn't seem to bbe the solution.

I think that it must be something in the JA Server or scripting ???

It could actually be as easy as something like running CCleaner or your A/V deleting cookies -

What?

But then it doesn't appear that this happening to others. Server problems usually affect many users.

Do you run things like CCleaner? Do you delete temp files when you exit IE (assuming that's what you use)?  Does your A/V block cookies?

What?

Len have you run all the updates and or tried a different browser just for JA like Google Chrome? I'll bet there's a specific browser out there for eyesight difficulty. But alas Len look at the bright side... you get to pester your wife with a valid excuse

it happens to me too. I continually have to put in those crazy letters (half the time that I can't see) in order to get on this site.  It is very annoying. I use a antispyware cleaner every day and clean out my internet files at least once a week.

BAD!

This time I 'timed' it.

I was logged off after having logged on yesterday and having accessed JA several times since then and had my computer both on and off.

In other words it logged me OFF in a little over 24 hours.

It seems that members are divided into two groups - no idea of the stats.

Some, like me, get logged off much too quickly whereas others stay logged on for ages, AS SHOULD BE -

The problem is, IMO, to find the distinguishing factor.Internet Explorer which works 100% for EVERYTHING else.

I use the MS -Internet Explorer as I have done for decades and I am too old and vision impaired to switch to *ANY OTHER*` Browser,

Nor should there be *ANY* need to since MS-IE works 100% for &EVERYTHING* else - why should I risk spoiling that???

Hi Len, I am going to Lock this thread, because it has a twin here. If you would like to please post about this topic, post in the other thread that way we can keep everything together and then there is no confussion for us in dealing with this issue.

Thanks so much for your understanding and as I said in the other thread we are working on resolving this issue.
