Since the previous "what game are you playing" thread has been closed this month (on July 3, 2012), I think it's time to start a new thread - the newer, Number 2 Version of that thread.

You guys go first. Post away, please.

Some people didn't like that game but I enjoyed it.

"The Testament of Sherlock Holmes." It's on the X Box, not the PC, but it's really good.

I'm hoping to get some more new PC games soon.

I love parakeets

Installed Capri in Win7 and received error - missing MSVBVM50.dll. Web searched, it's a Visual Basic 5.0 dll, so I copied the file from my XP folder into the game folder and the game started. Only problem was a large black box where the intial menu screen should be. Some blind clicking and I was able to actually get things going but since I wasnt sure if I was missing anything critical I booted out to XP and tried it there.

The game started just fine XP just clicking on the exe. I figured out what I needed to be doing with the menus and so forth, then booted back to W7. I could get past the black menu obstacle okay but savegames acted flaky. So now I'll just play in an XP session.

I have only scratched the surface and don't know really what I'm supposed to be doing yet, but so far it's quite spectacular - and my god it makes you want to visit Capri!

Ciao, Tincup
