ont know what the weather is like in your neck of the woods but its terrible here.
Looks like we may just get another thunderstorm this evening, and as long as the electricity stays on Im good with it.
We have been so dry here its a little scary that a fire could start with all the fireworks. But if it rains like it did last night ( I can only hope ) we should be good.

Maybe that's where the Klingons got their saying 'Today is a good day to die!'.

They had them in the shopping center parking lot behind my house, and we could also see them in the next town over from us. However, mother nature trumped everything with a spectacular line of thunderstorms that roared through here about a half hour later. Not as colorful as the rockets, but certainly more impressive.

I am also babysitting my sons 2 dogs and even though they are not as bad as my dog it was hard getting any of them to go out to do their business till the middle of the night when they couldnt hold it anymore and all the hoopla died down. :s

It was just so dry and hot lately, hit over 108 the other day.
Miss the days of being a kid, when you'd get fireworks yourself and do stupid things that kids would do (IE boottlerocket/roman candle wars, was incredibly stupid but fun as a kid, my cousins/brother and I did it every year until we got a bit too old for it and wisened up). Even remember one year after that, in high school, a friend and I bought some to shoot off and in his old beat up pickup truck going down the highway I lit a roman candle inside and held it out the window as he was driving and shot it, almost hit some poor older guy on a lawnmower, sure he didn't expect that ! LOL. Don't do anything that stupid/childish anymore but it was fun while it lasted.
