Status : Offline | That was gorgeous fun Lady K. I've never seen anything like that before - so exciting. But I felt sad to be left behind.
However, for all those Moon-fake believers - take note, there were no stars visible in the black sky in this movie.

If any of you saw the movie Space Odyssey:2001 there are sounds in that movie that sound just like some of the ones that can be heard when craft is tumbling, etc. And BTW, that movie is one of the classics of space movies, way ahead of it's time. Still great to watch.
I enjoyed the clip. It STILL brings tears to my eyes whenever I see space shots and I watch all of them. Truly a wonder to behold.

Once the gentle roll started I almost gave up but was glad I didn't. It was like being on a fairground ride, every couple of seconds the ground would come into view. As it fell to ground the views would get slowly more detailed and whenever the other booster rocket was in the camera's view, it would be highlighted for us by a square. Then the three small parachutes opened and the rolling stopped and very quickly it was splash down.
