I just started playing LA Noire and really like it..it is amazingly well done and the setting is just about perfect..but i have a question..

has anyone here who has played it found out how to take screenshots? it is one of those difficult games that FRAPS wont work on and print screen wont either.

any one have any ideas? thanks

If you have the Steam version, you can press F12 to get a screenshot, as with any steamworks game.

If not, no idea

I've heard of cracks that let you take screenshots in LA Noire, but there doesn't seem to be any supported in-game way (Built into the game, I mean, not counting the external Steam overlay). Strange.

no i always get the disk version if there is one, so that is what i have. I can take pics using Print Screen and Photo shop so for now i will do that, as cracks are not an option for me. I guess it is because of the various interfaces for the game..and they may have intentionally done that to prevent screen shots from spoiling the game play for the first while...

it is an amazing game, in many ways, the detail and the depth and accuracy are just fantastic. Some details are off but a lot is right on which is amazing for an era so many years ago,

I am glad such efforts can still happen and the story is fun and the detective work is a blast.
