     LOS ANGELES, Calif. - May 24, 2012 – What began in arcades, pizza parlors and shag carpeted living rooms has grown into a multi-billion dollar business that dominates the entertainment landscape. Whether it’s addictive Facebook games, iPad apps, MMO’s, or console blockbusters, everyone has a connection to video games.  G4 spoke with the world’s biggest stars, hottest athletes, gifted musicians and the most influential names in video games to help the experts of G4’s video game show, X-Play, crown the greatest games of all time.  The five-part series narrated by the gaming industry's most accomplished voice artist and actor, Nolan North ('Uncharted' series, 'Batman Arkham City'

, The Top 100 Video Games of All Time, will air  Monday June 11 through Friday June 15  at  8pm PT/ET.
     
     Watch Zach Braff recall his early years with the Atari 2600, lifelong gamer Jack Black reveal his first experience with Activision classic ‘Pitfall', ‘Community’ star Danny Pudi discuss the nuances of playing as Bo Jackson in Tecmo Bowl, and Felicia Day share her World of Warcraft addiction.  Additional celebrities in the countdown include Nick Cannon, Michael Clarke Duncan, Milla Jovovich, Chris Klein, Sara Paxton, Aisha Tyler, Brian Posehn, Paul Scheer, JB Smoove, Morgan Spurlock, Robin Williams, Matthew Perry and many more.
     
     While they play games professionally, many athletes also will chime in on their favorite gaming hobbies, including Andrew Luck and the rest of the top ten draft picks from this year’s NFL Draft who reminisce on their favorite titles and gaming moments.  This year’s Madden cover model, Calvin Johnson, as well as other notable NFL stars including Rob Gronkowski, Chad Ochocinco, Terrell Owens, Barry Sanders and Terrell Davis also appear in the special.  Additional athletes include Tony Hawk, Phil Davis, Carlos Condit, Shaun White, Al Harrington, Daequan Cook, Jose Reyes and Daniel Murphy.
     
     Musicians also take time out of their busy schedule to plug in and play.  Soulja Boy will discuss his tyrannical side when playing The Sims and Common describes his love of DJ Hero and Call of Duty.  Alice Cooper, Digital Underground, Metallica, Megadeath, Dee Snyder, Soundgarden and Steve Vai also sing their praise of their favorite video games.
