I think Peter Sellers was an absolute genius. I'll always miss him.

The documentary lasts appx 52 minutes and comes in four parts:

The interview lasts appx 15 minutes:

Just for laughs, here's what I think is the funniest "Clouseau vs Cato" sequence in the entire Pink Panther series. It's from The Pink Panther Strikes Again (1976), and that's Dreyfus in the apartment below trying to spy on Clouseau with a periscope:

And then there's:

Does your dawg bite?

No

A-A-AI-AI-EE-EE. I thought you said your dawg doesn't bite.

That's not my dawg.

I haven't looked at your links yet, Karla, but the Clouseau/Cato refrigerator sequence is my favorite.  Is that the one you picked?

I also loved him in Being There.  "I like to watch."

Edit:  I watched the clip.  I had forgotten most of that crazy sequence.  I especially like it when the inevitable bump doesn't happen.

That refrigerator one is probably my second favorite. I think they're all good, though.

Thanks for the link, Caroline!  I've got to rewatch these movies soon.

That dog one has become such a classic, SirDave.  A couple of days ago, in reponse to my husband's question about the location of his glasses, I said, "You left them on the shelf in the living reum."  His pronunciation still makes us laugh.

When I'm at my computer (which is most of the time) and my cat wants something, she frequently comes over and tap me on the arm. Then I'll ask her what she wants.

Bottomless pit that she is, she usually wants something to eat. So the first thing I'll ask is: Do you want some feuod?

She actually understands when "feuod" means. If she wants some, she'll answer me by going to her food dish.

So I have a cat who can understand Inspector Clouseau. That's almost scary.
