As you may have noticed, it seems that more and more developers are raising funds via Kickstarter. Are there any games you'd like to see Kickstarted?

On the adventure game side, I would love to see another Myst title, possibly a prequel (exploring the D'ni realm in all its glory). Schizm is another one, or a brand new Shadowgate.

Outside of adventure games: Arcanum & Planescape.

Unfortunately, Kickstarter doesn't work for everyone, especially the small indie developers who could use the kickstart the most.  I pledged my support for a new Delaware St. John game, which had a fairly modest budget compared to the big names, but Brian didn't make his goal.  It seems that the small companies have gotten overshadowed by the big names promoting their multiple games.  It'll be interesting to see if all their hype is really worth it.

All personal & subjective of course !

Although I have played EVERY myst gamen and deriovative, and acknowledging their brilliance - they are still NOT my favourites !

In general with a few exceptions I prefer 3rd person games,

How about another Indianas Jones ? (with or without the approval of the defunct LucasArts !

You might get that Shadowgate game. The creator of Shadowgate recently got the rights to it, and has hopes at some point to roll out a Shadowgate sequel that was planned but never released.

I'd support a 1st person puzzle-driven fantasy adventure (read Myst-clone) in a heartbeat. Too bad no one is thinking of making one.

Yes, I heard. His Sherlock Holmes kickstarter sadly did not end up in a success, but hopefully he won't give up. A new Shadowgate is something that I would buy on its release day.

I think the Blackwell games are doing okay with the resources that Wadget Eye games have which they use to the best! But I certainly think their talent is worthy of greater technology which I would most definitely support if they ever wanted funding for it via kickstarter!

I hadn't even noticed that the URL wasn't clickable. This should have been evident when I had to copy/paste it into my browser.

One of these days, I must have my eyes checked. I guess it wouldn't hurt to have my brain checked as well.

Thanks for doing the clickable thing, JAS3.

This is phenomenal. I just found the Two Guys From Andromeda and Jane Jensen Kickstarters and now a new Tex Murphy game?!?!? My brain is ready to explode from the awesomeness.
