Deleted UserAdd me to the female list.

My favorites have been:

Laura Bow/Amon Ra because it was the first computer game that I ever played.

Sherlock Holmes/Serrated Scalapel and Sherlock Holmes/Rose Tattoo because Sherlock is my favorite fictional character.

Zork Nemesis because it was dark and evil and the first 360 degree game that I ever played.

Phantom of the Opera - I may be the only living person who enjoyed this game.  But I did.

Gabriel Knight 1.  I had technical problems with GK2 and was unable to finish it.  That was sad as I really enjoyed the game.  I have GK3 in my stacks but haven't gotten to it yet.

The Broken Sword games because they were silly and fun.  I liked the cartoon graphics.

The Nancy Drew games because I loved the books when I was a child.

And The Longest Journey.  Because it was wonderful, beautiful, gorgeous, excellent and outstanding.
o you get the impression that I liked it?  Yep.  I did.

And I have played a small part of Syberia and that one is a dream too.

Well I guess I'd better raise my hand also - female gamer here

Favorites?  I have actually been accused of liking all of them but that's a tad extreme - I just like most of them hehehehehe

My favorites:
GK series
Discworld Series
Kyrandia Series
Simon the Socrerer 1 and 2 (let's not get into 3 lol)
The Longest Journey
Syberia
Monkey Island Series
King's Quest I-VII
Broken Sword
and last but not least Mystery of the Druids - yep I'm one of the two people in the entire world that actually loved this game and in the process ended adventure gaming as we know it

Come to think of it - maybe I do like just about every one out there <g>

Hi there,

I'm one of those hooked female gamers as well- I have playedall of them with my boyfriend though!

Our very best were:

the Myst series
Schizm ( very difficult but we managed it and it was just Great- its my alltime favorite!)
Atlantis
Amerzone
The riddle of the sphinx

we also had a go at the longest journey but quit- too much talking to do

We are now desperately seeking a new game for the cold winter evenings- best but be something like Schizm or myst but there aren't many like that around, are there?

I'd be glad for suggestions because most reviews don't really really help
thanx

Hi ladies!!!  I'm glad to see other female adventure game players even exist!!  I've never met one in "real life" .  My favorites are: TLJ, Syberia, King's Quest series (except KQ
, Space Quest, Broken Sword, Monkey Island, and Gilbert Goodmate.  I'm sure there are more, but that's all I can think of off the top of my head.  Once, when I was desperate for a new game, I bought some of the Nancy Drew games ("for my daughter", I said--haha) and they were pretty good, too!

Glad to meet all you ladies and looking forward to participating in this forum!!

Correction to above post (sorry)

that smiley face is supposed to be an "8" (where'd that come from?)  and I left off one of my favorites, "Road to India" (also one of the shortest BTW!)

Hi there,

Well, I always liked the King's Quest series, but then I became obsessed with learning to make my own games, and didn't have time to play them anymore.

I know this is a really bad idea for a game developer, but there are only so many hours in the day!

This is what I've been working on for the last year:

I'm not Female, but I think girls are cute and pretty.  My mother is a female and she's pretty.

But to really tell you the truth, I've never met a female Adventurer.  I have tons of friends that are girls that like to plays games, but none of them play Adventures.  I'm glad you gals do.

And like I said before, "I gluded my shoe yesterday, it has stopped squeaking,"

Female gamer here!  I've been playing adventure games since my son was a kid (now 30), and he and I used to play the King's Quest games together on his IBM PC Jr. Wow, a long time ago and many fond memories. Since then, my favorites have become TLJ (great all around game), all Tex Murphy games (love his sense of humor) and Gabe 2 (love that Peter Lucas). I've kinda accidentally fallen into game collecting, and at last count have just under 300. I still have a long list to buy too, so hopefully I'll never run out of games to pop in. Now getting them to run could be a different story.

Here's another hand.

My absolute favs would be:

Zork series (goes without saying)
Faust
Myst
7th Guest/11th Hours (I do love a good puzzle)

Would have loved to play "The Neverhood" but can't seem to find a copy here in Australia.

Cheers

Lee
