I don't think I could stop them gaming even if I tried, my sister's already convinced her boyfriend to get into adventure games. Now, if I can just talk them into trying out IF text adventures, I'd be thrilled.
My favourates? Hrmm, well the Gabriel Knight ones abvously enough Possibly the second is my favourate, although the third is the only one that I can honestly yell "Gabe, you pig!" at the screen, for fun.
Aside from that, The Longest Journey is a given. One of my favourate games of all time.
I'd also include Broken Sword 1, because I just love the historic mystery element in games.
The first two Monkey Island games. I wasn't too impressed with the third, and really didn't care for the fourth at all. But nothing can really stand up to the first one.
And LOOM, that's definitely on the top of the list. Anyone played that?
