A new update was announced by publisher Codemasters and developer Turbine for their fantasy-adventure MMO Lord of the Rings Online titled "Update 6". This new update brings with it some fixes and a new addition to the land.
In Update 6, Lord of the Rings Online will unveil the new Great River Region, located along the shores of Anduin. Players will have to team up to fight back Easterlings, dangerous bridgands and the ancient enemy of Rohan. With new areas to explore, players will have to keep their wits about them. The Great River Region is free to VIP members.
Also new in the update will be a new Soldier on Landscape. This will allow players to summon their skirmish companion to the field, with customizable skills to help take on any challenge.
Turbine also made sure to make Instance Finder a better system after listening to the community. Players will be able to queue for specific instances and skirmishes they want to do, as well as choose to change loot rules and remove players with a majority vote. Rewards are also being increased, with additional XP granted for skirmish completion and currency bonuses for those that queue for a larger range of instances.
