Telltale Games announced today the return of the gaming world's favorite dog and rabbit duo to the iOS today with Sam & Max: Beyond Time and Space. Now available at the App Store as a universal app, the first episode 'Ice Station Santa' also offers up a mini-game 'Whack da Ratz' and a witty soundboard, exclusive for the iOS version.
In the first episode, Sam and Max face an ancient and powerful opponent, the large and in charge Santa Claus! It is up to the dynamic duo of Freelance Police to right the wrong that has befallen Christmas in time to make sure the world's children get a gift and holiday cheer rather than coal and holiday fear?
Sam & Max: Beyond Time and Space - Episode 1 is playable for the iPad and iPhone for $6.99. Episodes 2 - 5 are expected to come soon after to continue the case that these two iconic characters must crack, or else no one is going drink the milk and eat the cookies this Christmas!
