Hi all.  I am hoping a staff member from JA+ reads this.  I am sorry to write you using this method, but when I tried using your contact form I got an error message when I hit the submit button.

I am writing in regards to your recent news item: "Blackwell Now Available as Free to Play".  For five years, my company has been releasing games under the "Blackwell" name - all of which have been reviewed on this website.  So I was surprised to see that headline, since I definitely wasn't releasing the games for free.

In reading the news item, I could tell that the game was referring to a student project and not the point-and-click games that I make.  But even still, the Blackwell games are our bread and butter and we want to avoid any problems this might cause.  The fact that this game was featured on the same website as our own Blackwell games worries us greatly.

I have tried to find contact information for the student project so I can discuss it with them, but their website does not have any.  I was hoping that someone from JA could give it to me, or forward my concerns to them so they can contact me.

We appreciate any help!

Thanks,

-Dave Gilbert, Wadjet Eye Games

Hi Dave - Sorry about that Dave, I can see how this is a concern to you. We will change the headline.
