Independent developer Casual Box Studio announced today that a special edition of their casual adventure game Age of Enigma will be coming to the Mac App Store in early December of this year, with the iPad version following in January 2012. Players from around the world will be happy to know that all the releases will be launched fully localized in English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Danish, Swedish, and Portuguese.
Age of Enigma starts off with the medium Ashley Reeves waking up from a nightmare about a house engulfed in flames. Soon afterwards, she receives a letter summoning her to the very same house of her nightmares. Trapped inside this house are six ghosts, ghosts that Ashley much channel and return to its respective homeland, from ancient Egypt to classical Japan. As Ashley brings peace to the ghosts does the story start to reveal the true reason she was brought to the house.
Players will have to use their puzzle-solving brains to win mini-games, solve puzzles and use their wits in this mix of casual and adventure genre. Players can choose to be guided through the story in casual mode, or be a part of longer dialogues and have more freedom to explore in the adventure mode. With cartoon artwork, a haunting soundtrack and a story sure to make the hairs on the back of your neck rise, Age of Enigma is aiming for a high spooky factor experience.
The special edition of Age of Enigma will contain an additional mini-game not present in the original PC release. For more information, click here for the official page: http://www.ageofenigma.com
