Captain John O'Neil wajes up from a cyrogenic sleep on board the damaged ship Westwick. The ship's computer informs him he's been asleep for more than 312 years and is suffering from memory loss. Captain O'Neil must explore the starship to find answers and clues as to why he was asleep for so long and what happened to make the ship haunted. As the player unlock areas and progress, backstory movies will play, helping unfold the storyline about what happened on the Westwick.
With more than 13 hours of full motion video coverage, two dozen alternate endings, and a large cast of live actors such as Clive Robertson (as Captain John O'Neil), the original cast of the American cult television comedy series "Mystery Science Theater 3000", such as Trace Beaulieu, Beth McKeever, Joel Hodgson, Mary Jo Pehl, Frank Connif and J. Elvis Weinstein. Darkstaris also narrated by the late Peter Graves of Mission: Impossible and Airplane! fame.
