Resistance is not futile, we're gonna win this thing, humankind is too good, we're not a bunch of under-achievers! We're gonna stand up, and we're gonna be human beings. We're going to get fired up about the real things, the things that matter! Creativity, and the dynamic human spirit that refuses to submit.

Status : Online | Shadowhearts is a good game - but that's about it. I like RPGs, especially the Final Fantasy series, and of those I prefer the more realistic looking ones (FF8 + FFX) - so if you like those then I think you will enjoy Shadowhearts.
The only problems I found were - game length (it was way too short due to the lack of decent sidequests) and - atmosphere/storyline - I cant really pinpoint it but there was just something about the game in general that did not grab me and make me empathise with the main characters :-/
All in all I would say it is a game worth buying, but if you can buy it secondhand it will seem more worthwhile than forking out £40 as I did on its release date!!
Bow down before the one you serve&&You're going to get what you deserve !

Status : Online | I enjoyed Shadow Hearts. It's good, but not great. Although at the time of its release it was by far the best RPG on the PS2.
There's better RPGs out there now, but i find Shadow Hearts to be among the most interesting.
I am Alpha and Omega...The beginning and the end...The first and the last...

Status : Online | Sorry for ressurecting this topic, but Sacnoth recently announced that Shadow Hearts 2 is in development and will be released in Japan later this year. Yippie!
Let's hope Midway or another company will bring it over.
