Licensed 4U, an international sales and licensing agaency and Nintendo and PC published, announced today that they signed on to publish nine titles for the Nintendo 3DS sometime in 2012. The first title is expected to arrive on February 10, 2012.
The first title, known as Secret Mysteries in London, will be released in early February. Secret Mysteries in London is a hidden-object adventure game in which the player must explore London and travel to 13 other locations such as Paris, Amsterdam, Washington and Berlin to find clues to a serial killer.
Commenting on the range of Nintendo 3DS releases due for release next year, Licensed 4U’s managing director Adam Prichard commented: “Recently having met with a number of key supermarkets, it is apparent that the 3DS market really needs some good hidden object and match-three titles. There’s nothing intimidating about picking up a hidden object or match-three game and I think that’s why they really appeal to the female gamer more than anything. Plus 3DS is an ideal opportunity for publishers and retail alike to make a decent margin again by maintaining a £29.99 price point.”'s identity.
The other titles that are expected to arrive in 2012 are Jewel Quest IV: Heritage, Jewel Quest IV: The Sapphire Dragon, Jewel Quest Mysteries 3: The Seventh Gate, 4 Elements, Azada, Luxor: Quest for the Afterlife, Mah Jon Quest II and Farm Frenzy 3.
