Remember some people complained that the textures in Uru were too dull and just not that sharp? Not just when up close but even when stepping back away from surfaces. I had the same concern too. Well I replayed some of Uru Ages Beyond Myst using adaptive anti aliasing for the fist time and all the graphics look better. It’s sharper and has more contrast.

I know adaptive anti aliasing on video cards has been around for over five years. Transparent anti aliasing is another term for it. But I never had it on my video card until a few months ago. And the rest of Uru Complete Chronicles looks better now too (Path of the Shell and To D’ni.)

Not sure how strong your computer needs to be to run Uru at max settings with adaptive anti aliasing. If you can it may be worth it to revisit Uru if you haven’t already with this video card feature.

I take it you're talking about the online Uru?  I must say I never felt the graphics were below par so perhaps I already had all this anti aliasing turned on?   Nice to see I'm not the only member here who enjoys this game.
