To avoid any spoilers in the other thread, i thought it would be nice to have a thread where we can post our screenshots (please avoid screenshots containing major spoilers).

Anyway, I just managed to down my first unscripted dragon, and what a fight it was! This fight was at the college, and two nearby mages decided to lend a hand in slaying the beast. Now dragon also managed to die at a very appropriate place, so the first thing you see when you enter the college through the main entrance is not the statue, but the dragon bones. Here are a few screenshots that I grabed during the fight.

I have to say that Skyrim equals Nehrim, and exceeds it in scope.  However, I'm not quite "into" the Skyrim story.  And each town isn't as distinctive as they were in Oblivion, or as beautiful.  Still, I'm loving it so far.

She looks quite similar to your avatar. What type of character is she?

I didn't do very well with that character creation on the fly. Truth is I thought I'd get another chance. Oh well.

Oh goodie, that just made my day.

Thanks Dona.

While I'm at it I will have to check out the facial mods that Stiler suggested as well.

Hey CB! Welcome to the club! Hmm, i haven't managed to find 3rd person toggle yet, since I've been playing with a controller and the manual doesn't show controller keys, but i'll look in the options for it.

Inesrocks, your character looks just like Scarlett O'Hara!  I couldn't get mine to show less wrinkles, so I did a quick solution.  Will post screenie later.

trav, didn't realize how similar she looked to O'hara until now... it wasn't intentional!

oh yeah, I forgot the details: Scarlett is an Imperial. Right now I've got the Warrior sign but in time I'll change it to Magick as I want to get on the Mage's school (or whatever it's called

How are you all getting screenshots? The old Print screen key isn't working for me.

Meet Brittney, my Breton

EDIT:  Walsh, printscreen saves it to a special Skyrim folder for me (you don'y have to do it via Paint)  but I'm also using Fraps.

Vivien Leigh as Scarlett o'Hara in Gone with the Wind

Ok, not exactly the same, but close enough!

Btw, have you guys also found that you just can't seem to get your character looking nice and young without any wrinkles?

In steam the hotkey is F12 or you could use fraps http://www.fraps.com/

yeah it's weird.  mine looks to be 30-something.

and what about those "paint your face" option, like making your chin, cheekbones, nose darker which makes you look like your character hasn't bathed for years

trav, why did you cover the whole face of your character? she looks like she can't breath that way!

Because i couldn't manage to get rid of the dirt and wrinkles on her face in any other way!  I'll take the paint off as soon as i have a chance to apply a nice face mod.

Talking of dying: I'm on my way to that glade place  Spoiler Alert(for the tree quest)  and decided to take that fellow along that you find in the temple of Kynareth who asks to come along.  Well, i took a detour, met a gaint-thing that killed me, but lucky i had a save not too far from there.  So after the save reload, we met a pack of wolves, I'm spraying fire, and my companion jumps right in front of me as i'm busy spraying fire.  He screams;  "Help!  I'm being attacked!", and starts punching me, and he just wouldn't let off.  *sigh* So we're re-loading again...

Now i know i was wise not to take any companions earlier; but i'm keeping this guy for now, in case he has an interesting reason to go with me.  Well, i think next time we meet an enemy, i'll just run away...

That's why I put a beard on my nord, it covers up the wrinke/blotches on the chin/cheek area, but I guess that wouldn't work for a female

There are a couple mods you might want to check out, one for Cleaner female bodies:

http://www.skyrimnexus.com/includes/error.php?pop=0&report=0&error=file_exist&page=www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=18

and cleaner faces, I'd link you to it but the site seems down now.

I guess you found the option, but for the record, F key changes the view. Or you can use mouse scroll.

I was going for a slightly older looking character, but you're right. Nexus has quite a few "younger face" mods, so you should check that out

Traveller, I know exaaactly what you mean about that companion. It's trial and error and, trust me, wolves are the wekest enemy you will encounter on your way to the sanctuary. I recommend you find a real companion that will fight with you. The guy that tags along got bussy on me, he wouldn't stop crouching and randomly attacking things after a certain point, he was a real pain to escort T_T

if someone gets to the sanctuary with that guy alive, i'd like to know what happens.

I gave up on him in the end and fed him to the wolves

I think I managed to find one of the most hideous helmets in the game.

The rest is elven armour, but I can't seem to find a matching helmet, so I'm stuck with this monstrosity.

Re Jonelle:  Well, he simply disappeared on me during a fight with bandits.  I guess he must have rolled into the river....  I wonder if i can use a cheat code to resurrect him once I get to the glade.

I remember a follower in Morrowind got stuck once, so i used a char resurrect cheat on him, and suddenly there were 2 of them!!  LOL- it was quite funny...

Re the 3rd person toggle button:  On the XBOX 360 controller, it's pushing down the right joystick.

@ Fnord... Oh... My ...  Lord....

It reminds me of the monstrosity i had to wear in Divinity 2, because it had the best stats.  It made me look like something out of an S&M horror movie.  Your helmet looks like some creature that had undergone a weird genetic mutation.
