Okay, what is twiddleware?

If I had to take a wild guess: It's a puzzle that is more reliant on "twiddling" and luck than on strategy, skill or deduction. Is that it? And if so, what are some examples of twiddleware you've encountered?

As far as I can tell, "twiddleware" is a name people often give to puzzles they don't like, or puzzles they think are tedious and/or illogical.

My definition would be a "puzzle" that is only solved by clicking on it many times at random, without ever being able to predict the results of any particular click.
