Lace Mamba Global, a Brighton-based publisher, announced today that thave have changed the release date for their point and click adventure game Deponia. Deponia will be launching onto retail shelves in the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, the Benelux countries and Portugal in Q2 2012.

Developed by Daedalic Entertainment, Deponia uses hand-painted backgrounds in widescreen format with high-quality cartoon animation for a unique and amazing experience. Paired with the cartoon animation is the storyline of fast-paced comedy of errors and unusual love stories.

In Deponia, players will control Rufus, one of the playable main characters. Rufus is not a happy camper. He has a short temper and has delusions of granduer, living on the edge of a small settlement in the most remote area of a garbage-covered planet of Deponia. He dreams of a better life in the floating cities, and when the beautiful Goal falls from one of the floating cities, Rufus sees a chance at change. The story unfolds further as it turns out that Rufus looks exactly like Goal's husband, and the story engages itself into twists and mix-ups.
