I played it again because i bought the second game recently and didn't seem to remember a thing of what happened it the first game
The second seems to be even more fun than the first installment, real 3D environments are always a plus.
But i've got a feeling this one is much less 'scary'.

My brain hurts! I've been playing Rhem 4 for at least 10 hours and have 8 pages of notes and 4 pages of maps. I've discovered all kinds of neat nooks and crannies with tons of clues and am just now starting to put some things together. I've only had a few "ah-ha" moments but am hoping there will be more soon before I become a complete basket case. This is definitely my favorite kind of game!
I played this last year and loved it. There are so many hidden spots to discover, I envy you playing it for the first time.
I bought the whole Rhem collection today, does that make you even more envious?
The Rhem games have been on my to-play list for many years now and now i wish i had done this sooner.
I almost forgot to make dinner because I was so engrossed with this game.
Sheesh, that place is huuuge.

You briefly "meet" some of the same characters in each story, but one game isn't dependent on understanding the previous one. The 3rd game does have a special puzzle to solve which gives you a little preview of the 4th game, and the 4th has a small preview of the 5th as well.

I hope the pace picks up soon, because the characters and storyline ain't that interesting right now
I can't play anything besides point and click AG's right now, my right hand is completely bloated because some idiot at the hospital didn't put the IV needle where it should've been...
So any game that require combined mouse and keyboard input are currently not an option.

I didn't use walkthrough since today but confess; I only solved de GWALINWESSU puzzle due brute force. I tryied around 5,000 times the 4-combinition numbers to filnally figure out. I didn't found any clue in theh game to solve that puzzle.
Well...now I'm near de middle of this game...and I have to figure out thousands of enigmas that I have NO idea now to figure them out. This sequel is several times harder then Rhem 1. But i love it!

Status : Offline | Just finished up Nibiru. I begin to wonder why I bother with any adventure game made over the last several years. Yet another quite mediocre inventory puzzler. Another lousy translation, with typo ridden subtitles, tepid voice acting, utterly forgettable characters, and a main character with no personality, not even a stereotype. The way the story ended felt like they ran out of money half way through development and had to wrap things up. The parts I did like were the ones everyone seems to hate, the stand alone puzzles like the colored marble puzzle or the Mayan number puzzle. They weren't difficult, but at least provided some contrast to the rather bland inventory puzzles.

I already started to dislike the game because of it's silly puzzles, since i'm tone deaf this is definitely the end for me
This together with sliders and mazes should be outlawed in AG's!!!!

It didn't hold my attention enough to get far at all - but it sounds like you finished it at least. Like re-checking the gristle on our plate in the hope that we may have missed a real piece of meat. Alas...

Unfortunately it turns out to be a bit of a dissappointment, although the storylines are quite good, the immersion is ruined by a very intrusive interface. Dialog boxes completely block the view and there're too many frequent hint pop-ups.
It's mostly dialoge driven, with very limited player input
This game should've gotten a decent PC version instead of being a mobile port.
Also there's no way to manually save the game, which is a real downer for a game with multiple endings
Telltale's 'quality' is degrading rapidly

I've got a frustrating techical problem with Darkness Within 2 , I ran into a nasty game breaking bug that makes a puzzle impossible to complete. This should be fixed with their latest patch, alas the patch doesn't recognise my digital version i bought recently at GamersGate.
Securom happens to be the culprit , this only affects the digital version because the boxed versions have no copy protection at all!! Another case where DRM ruins a gameplay experience and ofcourse the developers seem to have defunct so there's no way i can contact them for support. I'm trying to get it fixed through gamersgate and the publisher, but i fear the worst.
ARGH!

You were wiser than me, I think. But I can't stand leaving a game unfinished, whether it's good, bad, or otherwise.

It's unfortunate to hear this, but not a surprise. As far as I'm concerned, Telltale's quality has been plummeting since the very weak Back to the Future.

Fiddling around with incidental things to see what happens is as much fun as the main part of the game. Highly recommended.

The third installment was better than the second - neither as good as the first though.

I finished the game last night and feel the same way about it as you do, Andromus. It gave me some real belly laughs, and I loved all the extra surprises. I'm going to play it again soon just to see if I can get all the wild and wonderful critter cards.

Yes, I'd like to complete my set of cards as well. I unlocked a couple of fun bonuses with what I had, I'm very curious about what the reward will be with a full set.
