Your intuition is correct. Other than the Blackwell games, this is the only other Wadget Eye game that I have purchased. I suppose there is little hope that an upgrade to the retro-style graphics is in the works. (must be a cult thing) The inventory/long term/short term memory interface is a bit cumbersome but it does at least add to the flexibility of gameplay including the cooperative requirements often necessitated between the individual player characters to progress the game. 

I'd very much like to play Resonance at some stage, I believe.

Aha! Well done, SweetDalilah!  I had thought, I believe, that I might stump people for a bit by choosing a fairly small and freeware AGS game, but it would seem that I was wrong. ^_^

(~Airwave~ was a lovely game, as I recall it - I do look forward to seeing the next in the series. ^_^)
